Washington, DC – Alabama Senator Richard Shelby says applications are available for U-S Service Academy nominations. Nominees must be Alabama residents and must complete the required A-C-T or SAT tests. Applicants must also provide letters of recommendation and their high school transcript. The service academies include the U-S Military Academy, U-S Naval Academy, U-S Air Force Academy and the U-S Merchant Marine Academy.
