Montgomery, AL – Governor Riley has proclaimed the month of May as "Military Appreciation Month" in Alabama. The Governor welcomed home members of the state National Guard's 115th Signal Battalion Saturday. Members of the battalion were deployed for more than a year in Iraq. Riley says he hopes Alabamians will use Military Appreciation Month to show support for all of the members of the military.
