Army Chopper Crashes, One Dead

By Alabama Public Radio

Fort Rucker, AL – The U-S Army is reporting one death in Thursday morning's military helicopter crash. Three crew members were on board when the T-H-67 Creek helicopter made what the military is calling a "hard landing." Fort Rucker had been withholding the pilot's rank and name until next of kin was notified. The Army says the surviving crew members were being treated at a local hospital. The Army has not said exactly where or what time the accident occurred.
