Alabamians are being offered support and resources for mental health as winter moves in and days grow shorter, and the temperatures drop. Seasonal affective disorder symptoms start in the late fall or early winter and go away during the spring and summer.

The Ask Your Doctor campaign is being promoted across Alabama, where residents are encouraged to ask their physician about the flu shot and other vaccines. The Alabama Department of Public Health, the Alabama Hospital Association, and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama are all backing the initiative.
