Community input is wanted by the Montgomery Metropolitan Planning Organization surrounding the development of a Regional Safety Action Plan. The initiative is designed to address roadway fatalities and serious injuries affecting motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists and transit riders.

A new report ranks Alabama in the top ten for most dangerous states for delivery drivers. The Florida based personal injury and car accident law firm Anidjar & Levine used the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Fatality and Injury Reporting System Tool (FIRST) to determine the best and worst States for delivery driver accidents.

Alabama legislators may soon make it illegal to hold your phone while you drive. A bill up for consideration in the legislative session would make all phone use during driving a punishable offense.
