The City of Mobile is reminding that signups are still open for a free event that aims to quickly resolve active traffic-related warrants. The upcoming Warrant Clinic will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 at the Springhill Recreation Center.

After the success of the free Warrant Clinic back in May, the City of Mobile is putting on a second clinic in November. The goal is to help as many people as possible quickly resolve active traffic-related warrants in a relaxed and unintimidating space without the fear of arrest.

A specially formed Montgomery crime unit is providing an update on the team’s progress and overall impact on crime in and around the Capital City. This includes more than 1,000 traffic stops and over 100 arrests.

With a new school year beginning, the Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is reminding drivers about its zero-tolerance policy for speeding in a school zone. HPD patrol officers and safety patrol aides will patrol school zones throughout the school year to ensure drivers are obeying speed limits.
