Alabama All-America safety Malachi Moore will miss the 11th-ranked Crimson Tide’s bowl game against Michigan with an injury that had plagued him much of the season. Coach Kalen DeBoer said Moore was scheduled to have surgery on Wednesday and would miss the ReliaQuest Bowl.

The Crimson Tide hits the road to face the Tennessee Volunteers tomorrow. The game comes after Alabama narrowly defeated South Carolina and the Vols beat Florida in overtime. The Tide still appears to be finding its rhythm following a loss of Vanderbilt and a come from behind victory over Georgia.

The Crimson Tide narrowly avoided another upset after losing to Vanderbilt last week. Alabama was able to hold off South Carolina 27-25 with an interception after allowing the Gamecocks a chance at handing the Tide its second straight SEC loss.

The Crimson Tide are preparing with perhaps a bit more urgency for tomorrow’s game against South Carolina. Both teams want to bounce back following embarrassing defeats last weekend. Alabama lost to Vanderbilt forty to thirty five. But, the Gamecocks did worse in its twenty seven to three drubbing by Ole Miss
