Governor Kay Ivey has awarded more than $7.6 million to enhance highway safety in Alabama and reduce the number of reckless drivers on the state’s roads. The grants will help fund major highway safety campaigns including “Click It or Ticket” and “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”

A new report ranks Alabama in the top ten for most dangerous states for delivery drivers. The Florida based personal injury and car accident law firm Anidjar & Levine used the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Fatality and Injury Reporting System Tool (FIRST) to determine the best and worst States for delivery driver accidents.

The Alabama Triple-A is hoping to educate cyclists, drivers, and pedestrians on road behaviors that they can practice to keep roads safe. Their goal is to decrease and ultimately end the number of deaths and injuries associated with unsafe driving behaviors.
