The Southeastern Conference has a big week ahead, with four games between ranked teams, headlined by No. 6 Tennessee at top-ranked Auburn on Saturday. The Tigers moved into to the No. 1 spot for the second time in program history a week ago and remained there after a chaotic week in which 19 AP Top 25 teams lost at least once.

Aden Holloway and Mouhamed Dioubate each scored 22 points to help No. 4 Alabama beat Vanderbilt 103-87 on Tuesday night. Holloway made eight of his 11 shots, including four 3-pointers. Dioubate was 7-for-8 from the field and hit six free throws.

Grant Nelson had twenty five points and eleven rebounds, and number four ranked Alabama beat number eight Kentucky 102-97 in a match up, on the road, of two of the top offensive teams in the country.

No. 8 Kentucky hosts the No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide after Jaxson Robinson scored 22 points in Kentucky's 81-69 win against the Texas A&M Aggies. The men's basketball teams square off Saturday for the first time this season. Kentucky is 3-1 against the SEC, and Alabama is 3-1 against conference opponents.

Alabama’s men’s basketball team is hoping to make up for a bruising loss to the Ole Miss Rebels. The catch is, Saturday’s game is against Kentucky which just beat Texas A & M eighty one to sixty nine.

Malik Dia’s 23 points, 19 rebounds and two blocks led No. 21 Mississippi to a 74-64 win over No. 4 Alabama on Tuesday. Sean Pedulla scored 12 points and had three steals and Matthew Murrell scored 11. Jaylen Murray and Jaemyn Brakefield both scored 13 points off the bench for Ole Miss. Aden Holloway led Alabama with 15 points, and Mark Sears added 11.

Auburn has climbed to No. 1 in The Associated Press men’s basketball poll for its second stint at the top in program history. Bruce Pearl’s Tigers claimed 60 of 62 first-place votes to rise one spot Monday. Auburn had been No. 1 once before during a three-week stint in 2022.

No. 5 Alabama takes on the No. 23 Ole Miss Rebels after Mark Sears scored 27 points in Alabama's 94-88 win over the Texas A&M Aggies. Tuesday's matchup is the first of the season between the teams. Alabama is 3-0 against the SEC, and Ole Miss is 3-0 against conference opponents.

Mark Sears scored 22 points — hitting of 4 of 6 3-pointers — to help No. 5 Alabama beat South Carolina 88-68 on Wednesday night for its seventh straight victory. Aden Holloway added 13 points for the Crimson Tide (13-2, 2-0 Southeastern Conference) in their 10th straight victory over the Gamecocks (10-5, 0-2).
