The Auburn Community Orchestra's annual Fall concert is fast approaching. "Orchestra on the Hill," is set for Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 6:00 p.m. at Pebble Hill. The concert is a free, family-friendly event open to the public.

The inaugural South Star Festival is set for Sept. 28 and Sept. 29 at the John Hunt Park Festival Grounds, where crowds of thousands of people are expected to attend. Gates open both days at 1:00 p.m. and the music will end at 11:00 p.m.

Auburn is gearing up for what’s billed as the city’s largest free outdoor festival of the year. The 23rd annual Auburn CityFest is back in town Saturday, April 27 at Keisel Park. The 2024 theme is Space Adventures.

The new BJCC STAR Amphitheater will be coming to the city of Birmingham in 2025. The project will cost $50 million.Construction for the new amphitheater will begin early of next year. Tad Snider is the Executive Director of the BJCC. He says this comes after the funding approval for the project.
