One Alabama community is working to keep medications and expired prescriptions out of the wrong hands. A Family Fun Day with a drug takeback event is planned on Saturday, April 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Lee County Justice Center.

Local law enforcement agencies are on a mission to raise funds for the Alabama Special Olympics with the 2024 Cops on Top event. The Auburn Police Department will be raising money on Friday, April 19, along with the Opelika Police Department with the added help of Lee County Sherriff’s Department.
