The GulfQuest/National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico in Mobile is hosting a Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 13, with free admission offered from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visitors and families are invited to enjoy a day of exploration, excitement and entertainment.

The event will be held at the Civil Rights Memorial Center in Montgomery on Aug. 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Visitors can enjoy live music, free food and poetry. SPLC and several local nonprofits will also provide additional information on voting rights, civic engagement and wellness initiatives.

More than 20,000 residents will visit Chilton County this weekend for an annual tradition. The 16th Peach Jam Jubilee is Saturday at Clanton City Parks.

Alabamians or visitors of the state with little or no fishing experience have the chance to learn a new skillset this Saturday at Gateway Park. Admission is free.
