Jill Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are traveling to Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. They will highlight programs the administration is rolling out to improve the quality of life and early childhood education in the military.

Fifteen young women from around the United States have been recognized by the White House for their advocacy on a range of issues to improve their communities. That includes twins Brooke and Breanna Bennett of Montgomery who led an effort to help give menstrual products to girls in Alabama public housing.
