The Rocket City Summer Music Festival is Saturday from 12 to 9 p.m. at The National Speleological Society Park. The event will feature two main stages with appearances from more than 10 local and regional artists.

The Grand Bay Watermelon festival kicks off today in Grand Bay. The annual festival celebrates the watermelon and is back for its forty ninth year. Festival attendees can expect plenty of food and entertainment and of course watermelon.
