It looks like November is turning into the month for medieval festivals. Last week, we told you about the very first event of this type to take place in Scottsboro. Now, it’s the turn of the Gulf coast with the Mobile Renaissance Faire and Pirate Festival starting this Saturday in Robertsdale.

In 1989, roughly 50 Fyffe residents saw what they claimed to be UFOs. Since that time, town officials have commemorated these unusual sightings with a summer festival called "Fyffe UFO Days." This APR encore presentation recounts the sights and sounds from the festival back in 2023.

The newest music festival to sweep the Southeast is coming to Huntsville this fall. One of the world’s largest music festival producers, C3 Presents will oversee all festival production. The name of the event, lineups and ticket information will be released in April.

The city of Arab is kicking off its annual SugarFest. This year’s SugarFest is on September 2nd at Arab City Park. The free festival will include an arts and crafts show, food trucks, a 5K run and a fireworks show.

Registration will soon close for Alabama Audubon's third annual Black Belt Birding Festival. Novice and advanced birdwatchers will visit the Black Belt's various natural habitats and meet some of the region's wildlife firsthand. The festival is Aug. 4 and 5.
