Photo submissions for the 2024 Juried Photography Exhibition in Auburn are now being accepted. Photographers currently residing in Alabama and in Georgia counties adjacent to Lee County are eligible to submit their work. All entries are due by Oct. 17 with a fee of $40.

A team from University of North Alabama is celebrating after competing in the Student Bowl at the Southeast American College of Sports Medicine conference. The team from UNA’s Department of Kinesiology took fifth place in the Southeast chapter.

Alabama public middle and high schools can now enter the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow STEM competition. The contest empowers students in grades 6–12 to harness the power of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to create solutions addressing issues in their communities.
