Beat Bama Beat Hunger

Students at The University of Alabama are celebrating after raising hundreds of thousands of pounds of food during the annual Beat Auburn Beat Hunger food drive. The items will go toward providing meals to West Alabamians struggling with food insecurity.

An annual, friendly competition against The University of Alabama and Auburn University that happens during the seven weeks leading up to the Iron Bowl will soon come to a close. The goal of the two food drives is to see which school can collect more non-perishable food to help those in need.
