Applications are now open for artist booths, live performers and vendors at the 2025 Druid City Arts Festival, hosted by the City of Tuscaloosa. The event is now in its 16th year.

The lineups and schedules for two stages at the 53rd Kentuck Festival of the Arts is being announced. The event will have its Tuscaloosa debut on Oct. 19 and 20 at Snow Hinton Park.

In 1989, roughly 50 Fyffe residents saw what they claimed to be UFOs. Since that time, town officials have commemorated these unusual sightings with a summer festival called "Fyffe UFO Days." This APR encore presentation recounts the sights and sounds from the festival back in 2023.

What’s billed as one of the most highly anticipated art festivals in Alabama is being celebrated for its 41st year. The Magic City Art Connection brings artists from around the country to Sloss Furnaces in downtown Birmingham from April 26 to April 28.

Arts Huntsville is inviting the community to return to downtown Huntsville’s Big Spring Park April 26 through April 28 to celebrate the 42nd Panoply Arts Festival.

Druid City Arts Festival (DCAF), a free two-day event highlighting local artists and musicians, will take place Friday, April 5 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Government Plaza.

Holiday shoppers can purchase local and regional art for the holidays in Tuscumbia. The Winter Art Market is taking place at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art. Organizers of the event say 60 artists have booths inside museum through Saturday, December 23.
