The City of Mobile is reminding that signups are still open for a free event that aims to quickly resolve active traffic-related warrants. The upcoming Warrant Clinic will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15 at the Springhill Recreation Center.

After the success of the free Warrant Clinic back in May, the City of Mobile is putting on a second clinic in November. The goal is to help as many people as possible quickly resolve active traffic-related warrants in a relaxed and unintimidating space without the fear of arrest.

An Alabama man wanted in connection with homicides in Oklahoma and Alabama has been apprehended in Arkansas. 50-year-old Stacy Lee Drake was taken into custody Thursday around 10 a.m. in a wooded area in Morrilton, Arkansas and has an extradition hearing scheduled for Friday.
