Huntsville is one of six airports where service will be discontinued. AirTran's 22 other locations will continue to operate and will eventually join the Southwest route map.

AirTran currently has two daily nonstop flights at Huntsville. Those flights will continue to operate through Aug. 11. Ticketed passengers, those with reservations or passengers who want to make reservations don't need to alter travel plans before Aug. 12.
