She holds two bachelor's degrees (Theatre and Journalism) from Troy University, where she is a proud alumna of the Troy Public Radio internship program. She earned second place in the “Best Radio Journalist” category at SEJC’s “Best of the South'' awards, and is currently pursuing a masters in Journalism at the University of Alabama.
