Host, Living With Less PlasticMary Liz Ingram is a native Alabamian committed to preserving the beauty of our biodiverse state. Since childhood, she has had a passion for environmental activism and makes it her life’s mission to reduce waste. From giving up single-use plastic, to reducing food waste and combating our modern disposable culture, she works to raise awareness about our waste crisis, sharing tips and thoughts on her bi-weekly commentary Living with Less Plastic. Mary Liz also serves on the Homewood Environmental Commission, runs The Clean Up Project and local food pantries. When she’s not fighting for the environment, she enjoys painting, reading, gardening and hiking with her family of five.
