The Alabama Triple-A is hoping to educate cyclists, drivers, and pedestrians on road behaviors that they can practice to keep roads safe. Their goal is to decrease and ultimately end the number of deaths and injuries associated with unsafe driving behaviors.

The city of Mobile is inviting the community to take part in a 3.5-mile fun run around the Hank Aaron Loop on Saturday, April 27. The second annual Lope the Loop is designed to accommodate all abilities from runners, walkers, wheelchair users, cyclists, parents with children and leashed dogs.

The Better Business Bureau of North Alabama is a non-profit who has been hosting the annual ‘Shred Day’s.’ The event will consist of four opportunities across the state each held on a Saturday throughout the months of April and May.

Northport will be hosting this year’s unique culinary experience for its second year in row on Sunday, April 21. Attendees will enjoy tastings from over 30 local restaurants and vendors. In addition to great food, wine and entertainment two Alabama nonprofits will be benefiting from the festival.

Seasonal influenza (flu) season in the state of Alabama runs from October through May. Over 600 medicines contain acetaminophen. It’s safe and effective when used as directed, but there’s a limit to how much you can take in a 24-hour period.
