For those with an outstanding warrant for a nonviolent misdemeanor, the City of Mobile may have a way for offenders to take care of it without the risk of being arrested. The city's Legal Department and Municipal Court are partnering with the non-profit Growing Real Alternatives Everywhere (GRAE) to host a Warrant Clinic.

Join Auburn Parks and Recreation at the lake at Auburn Technology Park South on Saturday, May 11, for the 30th annual Fishing Rodeo. Registration will open on April 1 for Auburn residents. Anyone outside of Auburn can begin registering on April 15.

Alabama is one of 10 states that hasn't expanded Medicaid to cover adults with low incomes. Members of the nonprofit organization Alabama Arise Action and advocacy partners will gather Tuesday, April 2, at 12:15 p.m. in Room 200 of the State House in Montgomery for a news conference on the urgency of closing Alabama’s health coverage gap.

Local law enforcement agencies are on a mission to raise funds for the Alabama Special Olympics with the 2024 Cops on Top event. This year, the Auburn Police Department will be raising money at the Kroger on Dean Road, Friday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the Opelika Police Department will be fundraising at the Tiger Town Kroger at the same.
