Alabama colleges are among many colleges nationwide to make college applications free to prospective students this year.
The University of Alabama has announced its Free App Week. Free App Week runs through the remainder of the school week.
During this time, all undergraduate application fees are waived. Fees are waived for both domestic and international students. The graduate school is also waiving application fees at the same time.
All applications and supporting materials must be submitted before midnight on Friday. This comes as UA welcomes its largest freshman class in the history of the school this year.
Auburn University is waiving fees for freshman and transfer applications this week as well.
