Database would track officer complaints, disciplinary action

A bill has been passed by the Alabama Legislature that would create a database that would track disciplinary actions and excessive force complaints against police officers.

State Rep. Chris England said the proposal is aimed at weeding out "bad apples" in the profession.

It is now brought to Gov. Kay Ivey to sign into law.
