Alabama has ranked last in response to the 2020 US census.
Numbers recorded from the U.S. Census show that Alabama has had the lowest percentage of households responding out of any other state in the country. ?
As of September 10, about 81.5% of the state’s households have been counted in total.
Other Southern states have also had a low response rate. Georgia is holding a 82.1% response rate, Mississippi is at 82.3%, and Louisiana is the highest at only 82.7%.
All states mentioned rank at the bottom five of the nation.
