An Alabama utility is undertaking a $5.5 million water project designed to stabilize and increase the water pressure for customers and firefighters.
Auburn-based ClearWater Solutions Inc. recently announced the upgrades by the Beulah Utilities District. The project will add two water tanks and upgrade six water mains.
The project is expected to be complete in about two years.
ClearWater Solutions provides water and wastewater treatment services to governments, municipalities, private individuals and water districts in the Southeast.
