Space One Eleven’s summer art camps are a perfect way for young artists to learn a new art form or improve upon their art skills! These camps give young artists ample time to dive into their projects, make friends, and create finished pieces of work for the end-of-summer student and teaching artist exhibition. All camps are taught by practicing artists in Space One Eleven’s professional art studios.

Confidence is the first thing you will gain by participating in our workshop. By practicing public speaking, in our safe space, almost like magic, it quits being scary.

In Toastmasters you learn & practice presentation, listening, evaluation and leadership skills; overcome your fear of public speaking; boost your soft skills; develop your personal speaking style; and much more.

For students aged 6-9 who have little or no experience with music and may be wondering which instrument is right for them, Mason Music offers a half-day music camp this summer where campers are given the opportunity to sing and play the guitar, piano, drums, and ukulele. Campers will get hands-on experience with real instruments while learning foundational music theory concepts, making crafts, and playing games. The goal of this week is for students to explore several instruments and learn general music concepts like pitch and rhythm, all while having a lot of fun! Recommendations will be sent home for which instrument(s) each student shows the most aptitude with so you don’t have to guess which instrument to start them on for lessons.
