The Arts Council of Tuscaloosa will host Gary Chapman: “NOIR” in The Arts Council Gallery at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center Oct. 4 - Nov. 21, 2024. Featuring works by Gary Chapman, Artist/Professor of Painting and Drawing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the exhibit will open on Oct. 4th at 5 p.m. during the free First Friday Art Walk in downtown Tuscaloosa. Gallery hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and admission is free. The exhibit will be composed of ten pieces from “NOIR: The Series” and five works from “The Firmament: Falling, Floating, Flying.”

Join us on November 22nd for Redeemed Youth Service 2024. This will take place at 7:00pm, doors open at 6:30pm. We are excited to welcome special Guest Evangelist Reggie Dabbs. This event will take place in Jay High School Gym. We are excited for what God has instore and what God will do in the lives of the students within the community!!!!

USA Department of Music will present a USA Faculty Oboe & Strings Chamber Music Recital on Friday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. The concert features oboist Amy Selkirk, violinist Silvia Suarez, violist Ashley Overby, and cellist Andrea Beltran Landers. The program is expected to feature quartets for oboe and strings by Mozart, Družecký, and Gordon Jacob.
Admission to this Department of Music event is free and open to the public.

Our 32nd annual Christmas Marketplace will be Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 9:00am - 2:00pm.
A portion of the proceeds collected from marketplace vendor booth rental will be used for local and international missions. Last year, our Marketplace funded a feeding center for children in Guatemala. It is our mission to spread the love of God and goodwill during this Christmas season.
