http://stream.publicbroadcasting.net/production/mp3/wual/local-wual-962575.mp3

Orange Beach, Alabama – Part One "Taking Back The Beaches" Duggins sets the stage for APR's weeklong series, by taking listeners to Auburn University's oil spill recovery conference in Orange Beach. Here, local, State, and Federal officials tried to organize efforts to rebuild the damaged tourist industry, while local residents struggled to find answers on compensation, clean-up and other issues. The heart of the story is told from the perspective of two men Ben Fairey of the local Charter Boat Association and Mayor Tony Kennon of Orange Beach. Duggins spoke with them at the conference, then followed-up months later to see how their community is doing.
