Tuscaloosa, AL – Immigration is a hot button issue in Alabama and has conjured up memories of the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's. A new graphic novelization from Lila Quintero Weaver combines the two concepts. Darkroom: A Memoir in Black And White chronicles the Quinteros immigration from Argentina to Marion, Alabama in the early 60s right in the middle of the civil rights movement.
