Tuscaloosa, AL – Tuesday night, six of the nine candidates vying for the governor's office met before an audience of 350 at Jacksonville State University. Republicans Bradley Byrne, Bill Johnson, Roy Moore and James Potts, and Democrats Artur Davis and Ron Sparks took questions submitted from voters. Republicans Tim James, Robert Bentley and Charles Taylor did not attend.
J-S-U political scientists Lori Owens and Glen Browder served as moderators for the ninety-minute forum. Dr. Browder gave Morning Edition host Brandon Hollingsworth a recap. He gave Brandon an idea of how this forum differed from previous ones.
