Who Has Seniority: The Stones Or The Supremes?

STEVE INSKEEP, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Steve Inskeep. It was great the other day to have all four living members of the Rolling Stones on ALL THINGS CONSIDERED. But we might've listened differently had we known this. The AP tabulated the ages of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood. They are older than the nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court. On average, the Stones are closing in on 69. The Supremes are spry young kids who average just under 67 years old. You're listening to MORNING EDITION. Transcript provided by NPR, Copyright NPR.
