Livingston, AL – The University of West Alabama received some good news from SACS. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools announced that school's clear accreditation status. U-W-A President Richard Holland says the University received a strong report from SACS, and he credits the university community for addressing the concerns swiftly and positively. Holland also thanked the school's trustees, faculty and staff for their work. He says he also thankful to Governor Bob Riley for taking a personal interest in the matter.
