Temperatures Drop Again

By Alabama Public Radio

Undated, AL – It will be cold again Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. The National Weather Service expects the arctic weather to send temperatures into the upper teens from the Tennessee Valley region down to Birmingham. Central and south Alabama won't be much warmer, with overnight lows expected in the 20s. The weather is causing concerns about the welfare of Alabama's elderly and also household pets. Firefighters also are predicting a busy time. They're urging residents to keep space heaters at least three feet away from anything than can burn.
