Some Storms Could Be Severe Tuesday

By Alabama Public Radio

Undated, AL – The weather was a bit gloomy Monday in Alabama. But, the National Weather Service reports hazardous weather was not much of a concern. That may not be the case Tuesday, though. Forecasters say there is a slight risk of severe thunderstorms scattered throughout the southern part of the state. Those storms are expected to occur in parts of the state south of Selma, Montgomery, and Auburn. The primary threat associated with the storms may be damaging wind gusts. The peak threat period will be between two P-M to eight P-M Tuesday.
