Jury Recommends Life for Landrum

By Alabama Public Radio

Linden, AL – A Marengo County jury has recommended life in prison without parole for a former University of Alabama quarterback who was convicted in the murder-for-hire deaths of his three-year-old daughter and her grandmother. A judge is expected to sentence Micheal Landrum in late March. The judge could either accept the recommendation of life in prison or impose a death sentence for the capital murder conviction. Landrum was convicted of hiring Jeffrey Napier to kill Mikayla and Ida Little in 2003.
