Industrial Expansion Projects

Opelika, AL – Governor Bob Riley helped announce two industrial expansion projects Monday. Alabama based Movie Gallery is planning to expand and build a new distribution center. Movie Gallery executives say their new 190-thousand-square foot facility will be built in Dothan's Westgate Industrial Park. The center will serve some of the company's 23-hundred video stores. An automotive parts supplier also has announced it will relocate its headquarters to Opelika. Mando Corporation will leave Detroit for a 30 million dollar facility in the city. Mando also plans to expand and will finish the project by next spring.
