Montgomery, AL – Dancers, music videos and laser lights announced the official arrival of Hyundai. Hundreds of guests filled a large tent erected behind the two million square foot assembly plant located just south of Montgomery. Company officials and government leaders made remarks before a ribbon cutting signaled the opening of the one-point-one billion dollar facility. Once it is fully operational, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama expects to employ about 2,000 people.
