Montgomery, AL – The state House Judiciary Committee will hold a public hearing Wednesday morning concerning Representative Jay Love's bill to put age restrictions on video games. The bill is aimed at keeping violent and sexually explicit games out of the hands of children and teenagers. Love says the bill is aimed at games like Grand Theft Auto. In that game, participants are given opportunities to steal cars and shoot police officers. The House Wednesday will also consider adopting a $1.53 billion General Fund budget to operate most non-education state agencies.
