Mobile, AL – Funeral services have been scheduled for a Mobile soldier who was killed in Iraq. Army Specialist Steven Ray Givens died Sunday. Relatives say the 26-year-old was killed in a fire fight with insurgents. Visitation will be held Friday night at Gilmer's Funeral Home in west Mobile. The funeral is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at the Gospel Lighthouse Holiness Church. A burial with full military honors will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saraland. Relatives say Givens was killed while serving his voluntary second tour of duty in Iraq. He served with the Third Infantry, Third Brigade and was stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia.
