Tuscaloosa, AL – Alabama Public Radio has been hitting the proverbial pavement, asking Alabamians what they're thinking about the upcoming presidential election.
But we asked Alabama Public Radio's Alisa Beckwith-Ayilliath to do something much closer to home.
During the Democratic National Convention, Alisa secretly recorded her elementary-school aged children as they were watching Barak Obama's speech. In this commentary, she says she was a bit surprised to find in her children a keen sense of interest in the political process.
