Deer Problem Plagues Prattville Fire Dept.

By Alabama Public Radio

Prattville, AL – Prattville Fire Chief Stanley Gann says ambulances and deer have collided three times in the last three months. Gann says all the accidents have occurred at night. The most recent happened on Highway 82 while an ambulance was going to Billingsley. Gann says the Fire Department has tried whistles mounted on bumpers that were supposed to drive the deer away from the side of the road, but those apparently did not work.
