Crimson Tide Football player arrested

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Police say University of Alabama running back Kenyan Drake was arrested after he entered a crime scene. Tuscaloosa County jail records show Drake was arrested Saturday and was being held on $1,000 bond on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing government operations. Tuscaloosa police spokesman Sgt. Brent Blankley says Drake's vehicle was parked in a crime scene where a shooting had taken place just before 1 a.m. Blankley says Drake became upset when officers told him he couldn't enter the area and went through crime scene tape to get to his vehicle. Officers immediately arrested him. Drake, who will be a junior this year, was second on the Crimson Tide in rushing with 694 and eight touchdowns while averaging 7.5 yards per carry.
