Coastal Schools Closed in Anticipation of Isaac

Many schools and colleges along Alabama’s coast are closed as residents brace for Tropical Storm Isaac. The Press-Register compiled the following list:

-Mobile and Baldwin County public schools (closed through Wednesday)

-Catholic schools in Mobile and Baldwin County (closed through Wednesday)

- UMS-Wright Preparatory, St. Paul’s Episcopal and St. Luke’s Episcopal schools (closed through Wednesday)

-Bayside Academy in Daphne (closed through Wednesday)

-Saraland public schools (closed through Wednesday)

-Chickasaw schools (closed through Wednesday)

-Classes at the University of South Alabama are canceled Tuesday. The university will meet at 6 pm Tuesday to make a decision on Wednesday classes

-Spring Hill College classes canceled through Wednesday

-The University of Mobile has canceled classes through Wednesday

-Faulkner State Community College canceled classes through Wednesday
