Alabama wins slot in Championship Playoffs

The Crimson Tide will face the Ohio State Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl for a chance at the College Football Championship. The committee that picks the final four for the playoffs also chose Oregon and the Florida State Seminoles  for the Rose Bowl, along with Alabama and Ohio State. Perhaps the most controversial choice is Ohio State, with supporters of The TCU Horned Frogs and Baylor feeling their team deserved a chance to win the title. Those two teams were named as the runners-up. Word of the selection comes following the Tide’s win over the Missouri Tigers for the SEC Championship in Atlanta. Alabama beat Mizzou forty two to thirteen. Alabama had two hundred and forty two rushing yards during the SEC Championship game compared to just forty two for Missouri.
