Event Description

To help us gear up for a busy election year, we are hosting a state-wide conference in lieu of our regional meetings. Join us on Friday, December 8th at Troy University Montgomery Campus for VOICES for Alabama’s Children’s 2017 Kids Count Statewide Meeting. VOICES’ legal expert Allen Mattison will explain the dos and don’ts for non-profits doing legislative and electoral work. Allen Mattison is an attorney at Trister, Ross, Schadler & Gold in Washington D.C. and is a legal expert in nonprofit advocacy, lobbying, and communications. This event has limited space and registration is required to attend so submit your RSVP early. On-site parking will be provided. We hope you will join VOICES for Alabama’s Children in preparation of the 2018 Legislative Session and the upcoming election year.
